From the Writer's Diary: THEM against US

Them Against Us
*The poem of 2 voices*

Sit up straight, use manners, be polite.
Don’t question adults
So, no “if” “buts” or “mights”.

I want to slouch, act obnoxious and pig out.
I'll correct every adult;
That’ll get ‘em no doubt.

Marry a smart business man;
you’ll be a house wife.
You’ll own mansions on acres of land.

But, I wanna marry a gypsy chick .
And be my own chief.
Live in a trailer; does that make you sick?

You will dress in pearls, with diamonds on your dress.
Take your soul to the ball;
Than City hall, and be mentioned to the press

I will wear hoop earrings (sponsored by Pink)
Take a trip tho the mall,
And yell, “Forget what the Government thinks!”

-------------------------------

They always tell us want should be accomplished or done;
But I never break rules,
So I notice in the end, they’ve already won.
